Day 01:

Coastal Track
Departure in 4WD from Muscat and drive to the coastal town of Quriyat, famous for its beautiful beaches.  There is a photo stop at the “Sinkhole”, where a part of the mountain has collapsed and filled with seawater. We pass Tiwi and reach Wadi Shaab with time to wander around its lush green vegetation. Then on to the archaeological site Bibi Myriam in Qalhat.

Overnight / Breakfast in Sur
 
Day 02:

Turtle Watching
We visit Sur, an ancient seafaring town and stop at the dhow yard  where the traditional wooden ships are built using the simplest tools. Enjoy a scenic boat ride along the coast. Continue to the Turtle Beach at Ras Al Junayz. The turtle beach is a protected area and is known for an unusual high nesting activity all year round.

Day 03:

Wadi Bani Khaled
We drive along the beautiful coast passing small fishing villages of the Bedouin to Al Ashkharah. Make a short stop at Jaalan Bani Bu Ali to view its beautiful mosque with its many domes. Continue through the spectacular landscap of the Woodlands to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman's most beautiful wadis.  It is famous for its lush green oases, water pools and deep canyons. The spectacular drive passes small villages with very friendly inhabitants.

Overnight/Breakfast between Sur and Muscat.
 
Day 04:

Beautiful Wahiba Desert
Depart on an exciting dune drive through Wahiba Sands, with its rolling sand dunes, varying from red to honey coloured sands. Along the way, we visit a camel camp. Proceed to Mudairib, famous for its many watchtowers, and pass through Ibra to Muscat.

The Package Price Includes:

- Transportation in 4WD vehicles (max. 4 guests per car).
- Experienced English speaking guide/driver.
- Hotel accommodation 2 nights with Breakfast.
- Dinner and overnight in tented camp.
- Picnic lunch / lunch local restaurant on Day 1/Day 2/Day 3/Day 4.
- Camp breakfast on Day 3.
- All entrance fees and porterage in the hotels.

Departure Dates :

- We recommend booking this off road tour between September and May.
- Tour will not take place during the month of Ramadan.
